The association " Les Dschangais "
Who are we?
THE DSCHANGAIS is a non-profit association that brings together Cameroonians from here and elsewhere, driven by the same ideal: to contribute, each at its own level, to the construction of a sustainable and prosperous future for the city of Dschang and its inhabitants. It is above all a shared desire to bring about positive change. This is why our association welcomes not only natives and natives from Dschang, but also any Cameroonian person who wants to act for the well-being of this city. The core of the association is young people who grew up, studied and forged their first life experiences in Dschang. Strongly attached to this city, they decided to transform their memories – sometimes marked by difficulties experienced during childhood – into levers of action to improve the daily lives of the inhabitants, especially the children, in order to offer them a safer and fulfilling environment... With its headquarters in Foto – Dschang, officially recognized in the prefecture of Dschang, the association LES DSCHANGAIS is a catalyst for local initiatives and an actor of social change, solidarity and sustainability...

Public awareness and leadership
In the coming year, the association LES DSCHANGAIS conducted an important awareness campaign on the need to act to improve the infrastructure of public primary schools in the city of Dschang.

🎯 Our objective was clear: to awaken in every actor – institutional, economic or citizen – the awareness and willingness to participate in the change that we want for our city. This initiative took place from 14 to 16 April 2025 and consisted of a series of strategic raids conducted by our representatives in key places in the city: the Town Hall, the Sub-Prefecture, the University of Dschang, several financial institutions, as well as the large areas and shops surrounding.
Thus we were able to meet with interlocutors from all walks of life, from local authorities to students, in order to discuss this common challenge.
In a spirit of proximity and sharing, we also took advantage of this campaign to offer useful bookstore supplies to our various interlocutors, symbolizing our concrete commitment to education and the daily lives of the inhabitants.
This first action on the ground marks a significant step in our approach: creating a collective and inclusive movement to build dignified and sustainable school infrastructure for the benefit of Dschang children.
